Here you can find details and contact information about the church's many community, social, and support groups. Our church is also involved with many ecumenical groups such as the Community Prayer Path and Labyrinth, Habitat for Humanity, Community Hot Meal, Huron Food Pantry, Salvation Army, Ministerial Association, Vacation Bible School, other worship services and events. Baby Boomers and Beyond gather as a 9 AM Sunday School class and also for social times.

Emotions Anonymous

Emotions Anonymous works with an established curriculum to help support one another in dealing with difficult feelings. Wednesdays 7:00 PM. Call Kathy at (419) 465-4304.

Funeral Luncheon

These volunteers are on-call to prepare a dish and/or help serve a lunch on the occasion of a funeral. This meal is a great comfort to family and friends during their time of grief. Please call to join or help.

Heart of Ohio "Walk to Emmaus"

Heart of Ohio Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual renewal weekend retreat program set up separately for teens, men, and women. Over 50 of our church members have attended. Check out the schedule on www.heartofohioemmaus.org .

Parents of Children

Parents of Children meets as a 9:00 AM Sunday School class called Christian Fellowship. They also get together for social activities. The conveners are Trey and Heather Hardy.

Parents of Teens meets Sunday morning at 9 AM Sunday School time, led by Buffy Greenawalt, Vermilion High School guidance counsellor and mother of six. They also meet during the summer and for social events.

Prayer Chain

Prayer Chain connects people instantly through e-mails or telephone with prayers of need, concern, or joy. In a time of surgery, illness, emergency, accident, etc, the power of many people holding you up in prayer can be overwhelming.

Serenity Seekers

Serenity Seekers is run by Stein Hospice certified grief counsellors and art therapists. Using video, activities, and guided discussion, these six week courses are open free of charge to anyone who has suffered a loss. There are also groups in Sandusky and Vermilion, as well as other services. (800) 625-5269.

Share - A - Meal

The Share-A-Meal volunteers are on-call to prepare and deliver a meal to someone just coming home from the hospital, recuperating at home, or anyone in need of a little love and support.

“Revive, Refresh, Renew!” (Women in Worship)

Senior Citizens Lunch Bunch

Senior Citizens Lunch Bunch meets the third Thursday of each month at 11:30 AM, followed by an interesting program. The program is catered by Janet Majoy and the cost is six dollars. Contact Judi Graham or call the church office (419) 433-3984 to sign up.
